Facilitator, Family Wrap Hawaii (Full-Time, Honolulu)

Job Description:
The Wrap Facilitator provides professional, productive, efficient, respectful, compassionate and safe Wrap meeting for the youth, family, and service providers. Responsibilities include meeting with the youth and family, gaining complete and comprehensive knowledge of the youth and families strength and needs. Ensuring that all confirmed key participants have a general but clear understanding of the Wrap process and protocols, making final preparations and adjustments in collaboration with the Lead Facilitator and Wrap Manager.

Education/Skills/Experience:
Minimum Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning; and/or a minimum of one (1) year related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with computer use, including word processing, spreadsheets, map reading, email, and database usage. Must have the ability to speak clearly, write reports, and correspondence and must be comfortable speaking among and leading groups. Must have excellent problem solving skills. Must be flexible with work schedule, pending the need to deliver services outside the normal work shift. Hours may include weekend and evening hours. Required to travel to the neighbor island for Conferences. Conferences are held in all parts of every island, in churches, libraries, and other community locations. Successful criminal and child abuse and neglect background clearance as required by state regulations for those who work with children and families in the Child Welfare System. Valid driver’s license, and acceptable motor vehicle abstract.
